Why can’t I change my .hu domain’s nameservers?

In most cases the source of the problem is that you can’t change your name servers as long as your nameservers aren’t qualified as valid nameservers. This qualification is done by the .hu Registry, you can test your nameserver with the given domain at this link:
.hu domain nameserver technical checking

(You can’t change your domain’s nameservers on our technical interface/panel either as long as the given site’s tool gives you errors)

You can read up and learn how to fix the issues with your nameservers, or we can give you and set up a free CPanelDNS service (which is a qualified nameserver) if you want. You can change your nameserver any time for free (as long as it passes the tests on the given link)

Important:

When you set a new hostname as nameserver (yes, you read it correctly, only one hostname) to your .hu domain, .hu Registry reads the domains’s zone file from that host and if the configutation is acceptable, then .hu Registry set new nameservers for your .hu domain, based on the zone file.

Example:
yourdomain.hu new nameserver: a.hu
a.hu zone file contains
nameserver a.hu and b.com
when regcheck ends well, then yourdomain.hu new nameservers will be a.hu and b.com

Example 2:
yourdomain.hu new nameserver: c.info
c.info zone file contains
nameserver a.hu and b.com
when regcheck ends well, then yourdomain.hu new nameservers will be a.hu and b.com
